I tend to be a Lund diehard so it is hard for me to admit this, but I think that Alumacraft is every bit the equal to the A-series Lund boats. 2021-04-08 · IMO, Lund tops the list in quality and solid construction followed by Alumacraft, then Crestliner. If the layout is better for you on the lund and you can get the brand motor you want than go for it. To me the layout and storage is very important on a boat.

I fished for many years out of a 14 1/2 Lund in my younger years on LP Bay and caught just as many fish as did out of bigger boats I had after 

If you are truly down to Lund vs. Alumacraft, I would go Alumacraft. Better ride Lund vs alumacraft –The biggest thing I like about the alumacraft is the xtra space in front of the wind shield vs the lund of the same size.

In regards to Lund vs Alumacraft, you cant go wrong either way. Both are top quality, however, Alumacraft does not have the marketing machine or the sponsorship that Lund has, therefore more Lunds out there and a higher price.

Re: Fisher boats vs. Lund, Crestliner, Alumacraft, etc.? A while back I had a 12' Fisher. I would say that build quality wise it was equal to the current 12' Lund.

It was a good solid boat and took a beating well. A few rivets leaked a bit after a while.

Better ride Lund vs alumacraft –The biggest thing I like about the alumacraft is the xtra space in front of the wind shield vs the lund of the same size. If you plan to run a trolling motor from the front much- a lund is shorter. But now with my remote vs the foot pedal I dont think it would matter much. Bob does all my work in carnavon as well.
